Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled, relationship‑oriented data professional to support IU Health’s participation in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade program, a nationally recognized patient safety designation. This role will partner closely with clinical and executive leadership including the Chief Medical Officer to facilitate data collection, analysis, and reporting that supports patient safety, quality outcomes, and organizational decision‑making.
This is a new role in 2026 and will play a critical part in shaping IU Health’s approach to Leapfrog participation across multiple facilities.

The Scope:
The Senior Data Analyst supports enterprise‑wide analytics efforts related to Leapfrog designation participation across eight IU Health facilities. This role is responsible for pulling, synthesizing, and interpreting data from multiple systems to support Leapfrog submissions and determining which measures IU Health will pursue.
In addition to Leapfrog work, the analyst will collaborate with business and clinical partners to support workforce planning, operational initiatives, and broader organizational analytics needs. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clinical and executive stakeholders.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
Requires 5–7 years of relevant experience.
Requires knowledge of computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access.
Requires analytical and financial capabilities; statistical background preferred.
Clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred.
