Senior Cost Accountant

Senior Cost Accountant needed for a manufacturing company in Little Rock, Arkansas!

Salary: $90k- $117k

The Senior Cost Accountant supports product costing, operational analytics, and financial reporting for a manufacturing environment. This role partners with operations and leadership to improve transparency, drive cost savings, and support data?driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard cost systems, including BOMs, routings, and inventory revaluations.
• Analyze production variances and support corrective actions.
• Provide financial analysis to improve operational performance and support key initiatives.
• Develop and track KPIs; create tools and dashboards to improve insights.
• Analyze inventory levels and support annual budgeting and costing plans.
• Assist with capital expenditure requests and post?implementation reviews.
• Manage fixed assets and support internal controls and policy reviews.
• Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and assist with internal/external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience; 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Experience with plastics injection molding or extrusion preferred.
• SAP, ERP conversions, Power BI, and Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
