Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Controlling Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Controlling Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting Plant Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Controlling Analyst

Location: Halstead, KS

Pay Range: $78,000 - $105,000

What's the Job?

  • Support the Plant Manager and Plant Operations team with analysis, reporting, and decision support
  • Develop and implement actions/plans to meet operational targets, strategic goals, and customer/market requirements
  • Analyze manufacturing variations and provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Review plant expenses and be responsible for reporting during month-end/year-end closing and budget planning (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial reports and support forecast and budgeting processes in the plant

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of financial, analytical, or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong MS Office knowledge, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals, including GAAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
