Role Description

This is a full-time, Senior Construction Project Manager position, for a job located in either Long Island, Brooklyn, or Queens. The Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project. The project will consist of budget of $25M-$50M, and will be a mid-rise construction project. Construction Project Manager is expected to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include project planning, coordinating resources, managing budgets, and maintaining effective communication between team members and stakeholders. The role requires oversight of construction schedules, compliance with safety regulations, and resolution of project challenges as they arise.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Construction Project Management
  • Proficiency in Project Coordination and general Project Management
  • Demonstrated experience in Budgeting and cost management within construction projects
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least one full-cycle mid-rise (8–20 story) project completed
  • Experience managing ground-up multifamily or mixed-use developments (NYC experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to take a project from pre-development through TCO/closeout
  • Strong familiarity with NYC DOB, permitting, and inspection processes
  • Experience coordinating with expediters, architects, and engineers in NYC
  • Understanding of NYC zoning constraints and construction staging challenges
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
  • Experience with value engineering and cost control
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, including contract enforcement
  • Familiarity with mid-rise building systems (concrete, steel, facade systems, MEP infrastructure)
  • Experience managing project budgets ($20M–$100M+ range preferred)
  • Ability to track and manage: Cost reports, change orders, and pay applications
  • Familiarity with construction contracts (AIA or similar)
  • Experience coordinating with lenders, inspectors, and draw processes
  • Proficiency in: Procore, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.
