We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Lead BA with deep expertise in the Life Insurance domain to drive requirement analysis, business transformation, and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires strong functional knowledge of life & annuity products along with experience in leading large-scale initiatives.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation activities through workshops interviews and data analysis
- Translate complex business needs into clear detailed BRDs FRDs user stories and acceptance criteria
- Conduct gap analysis impact analysis and feasibility assessments for new initiatives
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
Life Insurance Domain Expertise
- Work across Life and Annuities products such as
- Term Life Whole Life UL VUL Annuities Riders Underwriting Policy Servicing
- Interpret insurance product rules actuarial guidelines complianceregulatory requirements eg NAIC IRDAI
- Support product configuration policy admin system upgrades and ratefee calculations
Stakeholder Project Leadership
- Engage with senior business leaders across Product Operations Compliance Finance and Technology
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams
- Provide thought leadership solution recommendations and decision support analysis
- Mentor and guide junior BAs and offshore teams
Process Improvement Consulting
- Lead end to end process reviews new business underwriting claims billing commissions
- Identify automation and optimization opportunities using LeanSix Sigma principles
- Support transformation programs such as platform modernization digital onboarding and workflow automation
Technology Tools Systems
- Experience with major Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems choose whichever applies
- Guidewire Life Vantage Ingenium Life400 ALIP Oracle Insurance FAST or similar
- Work with integration workflow document management and data platforms
- Support testing SIT UAT defect triage and validation of business rules
- Understanding of APIs data mappings and downstream system impacts
Required Skills Qualifications
- 13-14 years of total experience with at least 10 years in Life Insurance domain
- Strong functional knowledge of Life Insurance products processes and regulatory landscape
- Proven experience leading large multistakeholder programs
- Expertise in BA tools JIRA Confluence Visio Azure DevOps
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and documentation skills
- Strong communication facilitation and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with AgileScrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Certifications preferred
