Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Novelis North America Product Management Team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support commercial strategy, strategic planning, market intelligence, and sustainability, reporting to the Commercial Strategy Manager for North America. This role transforms market and competitive insights into clear strategic direction that informs product and manufacturing priorities. Working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams across Sales, Operations, Technical Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and global regions, the Senior Business Analyst will work across Automotive, Beverage Packaging, and Specialties gaining broad exposure to the business while contributing to high‑impact strategic initiatives that help define Novelis’ future.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster effective communication and close collaboration with Account Managers and cross functional teams to ensure commercial objectivesare met
  • Monitor market and competitive developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities, providing insights that support near‑term and longer‑term planning
  • Develop and maintain key metrics, analyses, and reporting to track progress against strategic initiatives and support leadership visibility
  • Develop long‑term strategic planning through sales volume forecasting by analyzing market trends and industry dynamics
  • Effective product portfolio management ensuring future product strategies align with company growth and cost savings
  • Customer Presentationsand other ad-hoc analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Engineering
  • Minimum5+ years of work experience with business analysis, strategy, or operations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing; planning, scheduling, and/or finance/budgeting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, communication, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills; MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to positively handle change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track recordto meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Salesforce and/or SAP experience
