Senior Attorney

About the Company

Alber Firm P.C. is expanding its Family law practice across the Greater Syracuse as part of our National Expansion, and we are seeking experienced Divorce and Family Law attorneys to join in leadership roles.

About the Role

This opportunity is for attorneys with strong courtroom and litigation expertise, and independent case management skills. Portable business is not required — what matters is your ability to manage complex Divorce, Family and Matrimonial law matters and contribute to firm leadership.

Responsibilities

• Established and consistent case flows across multiple regions
• Infrastructure and support staff to handle trial-ready matters immediately
• Leadership opportunities and input in firm strategy and growth
• Autonomy in case management
• Partnership track or senior-level role discussions

Qualifications

• Admitted to the New York Bar
• 3+ years litigation experience in matrimonial, divorce and family law
• First-chair trial experience preferred

Required Skills

• Strong courtroom presence and negotiation skills
• Comfortable leading complex litigation independently

• Regional Opportunities:

• Our cases will span Onondaga, Madison, Oswego, Cayuga and Cortland Counties

Pay range and compensation package

• Competitive base salary plus a comprehensive KPI-based incentive package to maximize total compensation.
