Forum Group Connecticut is representing a private investment firm in a confidential search for a Vice President / Senior Associate, Asset Management to join its team in Greenwich, Connecticut.
This role is well suited for an asset management professional with meaningful experience in commercial real estate debt, portfolio reporting, and loan data oversight. The person stepping into this seat will take ownership of recurring portfolio reporting, maintain accuracy across internal systems, and work closely with senior leadership on asset-level analysis, servicing coordination, and process improvement.
It is a visible role within a disciplined and collaborative environment, offering direct exposure to portfolio performance, reporting infrastructure, and day-to-day asset management activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recurring portfolio and asset-level reporting, including asset reviews, watchlist reporting, maturity tracking, and covenant/compliance reporting
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting for asset management leadership and internal stakeholders
- Serve as a primary user and administrator of RealINSIGHT, maintaining accurate loan terms, borrower and collateral information, key dates, performance metrics, and status updates
- Perform reconciliations, data reviews, and periodic audits to ensure consistency and accuracy across internal systems and third-party reporting
- Review loan documents and capture critical provisions, covenants, reporting requirements, and restrictions
- Maintain reporting templates, documentation, and control processes to support consistency and auditability
- Oversee required reporting to special servicers in accordance with applicable servicing agreements
- Identify gaps in workflow and reporting processes and implement practical improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate debt, private credit asset management, portfolio management, servicing oversight, fund operations, or a comparable reporting-intensive environment
- Direct experience with RealINSIGHT required
- Experience handling special servicer reporting under applicable servicing agreements required
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and large data set management; Power Query is a plus
- Ability to reconcile information across multiple data sources and produce accurate work within tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentation and the ability to translate terms into reporting and system fields
- Clear communication skills, sound judgment, and a high level of personal accountability
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Compensation
- Base salary in the range of $140,000 to $175,000
- Very strong bonus structure
Office logistics
- Based in Greenwich, CT
- 4 days in office preferred, with some flexibility possible
