About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support for enterprise-level third-party applications. This role involves troubleshooting complex system issues, supporting application deployments, and ensuring seamless user experience across platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong backend and frontend support expertise along with hands-on experience in database management and scripting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced user and system support via remote and onsite engagement
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues
- Support deployment, implementation, and configuration of enterprise applications
- Analyze user requirements and design software modifications
- Debug application errors and optimize system performance
- Develop and deliver user training for software and hardware systems
- Perform data analysis and create queries, stored procedures, and scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and may lead or mentor junior staff
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in front-end and back-end support of third-party applications
- Strong experience in application deployment, configuration, and debugging
- Hands-on expertise with Java-based web applications (preferred)
- Experience working with asset management systems (highly preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database development (Oracle/MS SQL)
- Strong scripting experience (JavaScript, Groovy, XML)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently
- Experience working in technical support, system administration, or application development
