DescriptionYour Role:
The Senior Analyst for Financial Systems is responsible for supporting the tasks and projects related to the Finance and Accounting space. Key components of the role are to act as a key leader for the Finance team with regards to technology enhancements and projects, develop process improvements across the finance team, and serve as a SME of financial systems to support report building initiatives.
Your Impact:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the VS&Co Financial data model, including metrics, definitions, and business context
Assist in managing the support, development, and integrity of the financial systems and the financial aspects of our enterprise data warehouse (EDW). This includes, but is not limited to the following systems or modules:
Snowflake
MicroStrategy (MSI)
SAP
PKMS
IBM Cognos Analytics
Partner with business users and technology partners to recommend and develop technology solutions using existing tools
Enact coding best practices and develop solutions to various business problems, mentor and guide other members on the Financial Systems team on their coding projects and coordinate with the Financial Systems manager to create a development and testing plan.
Oversee the UAT and Pre-UAT for the data relevant aspects of large-scale projects impacting the Finance team or the Finance Data Model and report out to the team on the status of upcoming projects.
Oversee and assist other members of the Financial Systems team with testing issues and ensure that project is implemented smoothly and correctly.
Develop process improvement solutions to streamline work and expand reporting capabilities in Finance. Utilize Python, SQL, VBA, or other technology solutions as appropriate.
Oversee implementation plans for roadmap solutions to ensure no business processes will be negatively impacted by the technology implementation.
Serve as business subject matter expert related to key technologies (e.g., MicroStrategy, Snowflake, Access, Excel, Python, VBA)
Ensure appropriate SOX controls are in place for storage of sensitive financial data and perform periodic system access reviews.
Perform in-house training of business resources on MicroStrategy and Snowflake.
Supporting Manager with prioritization of work and status updates on business requests for process improvements and reporting needs.
Support month end activities and ensure the integrity of data loaded into our data environments.

Minimum Salary: $86,800.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
QualificationsYour Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or other related discipline required
3-5 years of analytical and database experience required
3+ years of Accounting, Finance, Operational, or other Business experience preferred
Advanced Experience in SQL required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access Skills required
1-3 years of experience with Python and VBA or another relevant programming language is required
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing principles including advanced SQL and MSI reporting methods
Ability to write complex SQL queries across multiple tables and databases
Working knowledge of accounting/finance concepts and systems
In-depth knowledge of data flows and data management information
Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
