Senior Accountant | Hybrid
We’re partnering with an established and reputable organization in the Indianapolis area to hire a Senior Accountant. This role plays a key part in day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking for long‑term growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 - 6 years of accounting experience (public, industry, or blended)
- CPA preferred, not required
- GAAP knowledge
- Month-end close experience
- Balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Product-based, tech, or corporate accounting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
- Support month-end and quarter-end close
- Maintain general ledger accuracy
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Assist with lease, fixed asset, equity, or reserve accounting
- Support audits and auditor requests
- Assist with accounting policy documentation
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations
- Support system improvements and ad hoc projects
Systems & Tools
- ERP experience preferred (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills required
- Reporting or close tools a plus, not required
