Senior Accountant

Overview

CGK Linens is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of our fast-growing eCommerce business. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing multi-entity and multi-currency accounting, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and leadership teams.

Location: fully remote

Schedule: 9-5pm EST

Compensation: $45,000–$50,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close processes across multiple entities and currencies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts across business units.
• Handle multi-currency accounting and ensure proper treatment of foreign exchange transactions.
• Identify process improvements and implement controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting workflows.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, marketing) to gather financial data and provide insights that support business decisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal management and external requirements.
• Stay current with accounting standards, tax considerations, and best practices relevant to eCommerce and global operations.
• Support and guide junior accounting team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in eCommerce or multi-entity environments.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and international operations is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
