$24 an hour (plus $0.50 shift differential for 3rd shift)

• 1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:45pm
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11:15pm
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Job Description

As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in upholding our values and goals by performing your job to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities:

• Capacity to assess situations, anticipate challenges, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts using quick, accurate judgment.
• Investigate incidents and crimes with the aptitude to complete clear, concise, and accurate incident reports and other documentation.
• Perform routine and emergency locking of facility, possibly assisting in crowd control.
• Patrol and inspect interior and exterior of facility, on foot or in a vehicle; Respond promptly and safely to calls for assistance per department guidelines.
• Assume control of emergency situations in cooperation with medical professionals, fire/police agencies and/or management.
• Effectively operate a variety of equipment including portable radios, computers, closed-circuit and access control systems.
• Respond to alarms and other emergent situations.
• Investigate and deter incidents; inspect buildings for vagrants, fire and safety hazards.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to communicate using a 2-way radio
• Comfortable working overtime and under any weather conditions
• Must be able to stand for full shift
• Must be able to speak and communicate in English

Work both indoors and outdoors in a dynamic security environment. Be prepared for varied shift assignments, including weekends and holidays. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with the public and fellow employees.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, WA.

The pay range for this position is $49000.00 - $50960.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bellevue,WA.
