Wholesale Digital and Transformation Technology (WDTT) is seeking a Tech Business Services Associate. WDTT enables the transformation of Commercial and Corporate Investment Banking businesses to sustain ably grow revenue and profitability by improving customer experience through digitization and automation in partnership with stakeholders across the firm.

This position will be a part of the Wholesale Digital and Transformation Technology (WDTT) Digital Customer Experience Team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in application development and must be comfortable in communicating directly with business customers and other IT application leaders.  The resource will have responsibility for managing a scrum team and delivering enhancement for the online portal including ensuring all deployments follow development standards, and meet business requirements.  In fulfilling these requirements, the individual should expect to work closely with the functional teams, development teams, and production support teams.

This role requires a proven technical skills set that has been demonstrated in the development of business critical java applications and their integration into enterprise systems. Must provide individual and project support for complex projects or applications, adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables within different client environments.

Other duties will include:

  • Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems.
  • Partner with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects.
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying and evaluating system impacts during conception and elaboration phases.
  • Interact with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs
  • Participate in the entire SDLC and interface with product managers , architecture , development and QA teams
  • Interact with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of practical Agile experience (e.g. Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developer on a scrum team, Project Manager, or Business System Consultant working directly with scrum teams)
  • 1+ year of experience as a practicing Scrum Master
  • 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 3+ years of J2EE experience
  • 3+ years of PL/SQL experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of J2EE


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to work with multiple teams, including those in remote locations
  • Experience with customer facing or mission critical applications
