Scientist II – Cardiometabolic Disease Research

📍 U.S.-based | 🧪 Clinical & Scientific (R&D)

🕒 Full-time | No travel required


We are seeking a Scientist II to support oncology research initiatives, with a strong focus on immunology and molecular biology. This role will contribute to T cell target validation and collaborate across research teams to drive project advancement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply and develop molecular biology methods to support T cell target validation
  • Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments efficiently
  • Analyze data and clearly communicate findings to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate within the Oncology Research team to support decision-making
  • Prepare and deliver scientific presentations and reports
  • Contribute to external publications (posters, journals)
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with guidelines


Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in cellular and molecular biology
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Cell culture (aseptic techniques)
  • Immune cell isolation
  • ELISA / MSD / AlphaLISA assays
  • RT-qPCR
  • Western Blot
  • Experience with flow cytometry (multi-color design, execution, and analysis preferred)
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Prism)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Oncology, or related field
  • 1+ years of relevant research experience
  • U.S. work authorization required (Green Card or U.S. Citizen)


Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced immunology techniques and technologies
  • Exposure to oncology-focused research environments
