Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Scheduler of Innovative Home Services to join our team!

 

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Scheduler of Innovative Home Services:

1. Coordinates and oversees direct and indirect client services provided by agency personnel along with Director of IHS.

2. Reviews available client information to determine private duty needs. Assigns appropriate personnel.

3. Reviews and evaluates each case by reviewing the services requested, conferences, record reviews, and discussions. Instructs and guides personnel to promote more effective performance and delivery of quality private duty services.

4. Is available during operating hours to assist personnel as appropriate and performs on-call duties after regular office hours.

5. Conducts quarterly record reviews and communicates findings and recommendations to program Director of IHS, Director of Nursing and/or other appropriate agency or community personnel.

6. Partners with the Director of IHS in planning, implementing, and evaluating the orientation, in-service and continuing education program.

7. Provides guidance and counseling to staff to assist them in continually improving all aspects of private duty delivery of services.

8. Assists Director of IHS in selecting, hiring, evaluations, and terminations as appropriate of agency personnel.

9. Ensures proper maintenance of client records in compliance with state laws and ensures compliance with state laws regarding licensure and certification of agency personnel as applicable.

10. Partners with the Director of IHS with referrals and marketing opportunities.

11. Demonstrates behaviors that support organizations’ mission and values

12. Oversees and performs billing duties. Performs payroll duties as assigned.

13. May be asked to provide direct service to clients to fill scheduling needs including providing transportation services.

14. Required to be available for on-call duties.

15. Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Director of IHS.

 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

1. One year of experience in a private duty or related organization preferred, scheduling experience a plus.

2. Has CPR certification or receives CPR certification after hire.

3. High school diploma or GED required.

4. Has excellent observation and communication skills.

5. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

6. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations- some weekend hours and evening hours.

7. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.

8. If providing transportation services, must hold a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

9. Has ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.

10. Must be proficient with using computers and have basic skills with computer platforms such as Word, Excel and scheduling applications.

11. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills

12. Thrives in a team-oriented environment and works well with colleagues across functions.
