This is afull-time temp-to-hire position
Schedule: 2nd shift 3 pm - 12 am Monday through Friday

We are currently seeking a high-level Saw Operator to join our production team and support our mission-critical manufacturing processes.
The Role: What You’ll Be DoingAs a vital link in our production chain, you will manage material flow and equipment operation with precision. Your work ensures that our manufacturing, assembly, and quality departments have the exact materials needed to maintain our 95% On-Time-Delivery (OTD) standard.
System Integrity: Execute all receiving and issuing transactions within the MRP system, maintaining 100% accuracy in part identification and physical inventory counts.
Production Support: Operate industrial cutting saws according to documented processes and record all actions accurately on the Production Router.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Manufacturing, Production Control, Quality Control, Assembly, and Accounting to facilitate the smooth movement of parts through every stage of production.
Logistics & Receiving: Process all incoming items (Production and MRO/Shop supplies) and enter receipts into the system.
Inventory Management: Accurately count, stock, and issue parts according to planning instructions while maintaining a highly organized stockroom.
Schedule Compliance: Maintain an aggressive follow-up system to ensure all schedules are met and goods flow smoothly to satisfy customer commitments.
Quality & Safety: Ensure proper labeling and documentation for all shipments. Adhere strictly to safety regulations, particularly regarding forklift and saw operations.
Technical & Physical Requirements:
Documentation: Ability to read and interpret engineering routings, planning instructions, and blueprints.
Systems: Basic PC proficiency and experience operating industrial scales and forklifts.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform standard arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Physical: Capable of lifting a maximum of 25 lbs.
Communication: Basic English verbal, reading, and writing skills.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
A strong internal drive for accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
Regulatory Requirement:
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder) per ITAR requirements.
