Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Production Planning in discrete manufacturing environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Material Master
  • Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Routings
  • Work Centers
  • Deep understanding of planning and scheduling processes, including:
  • Finite scheduling
  • Capacity and resource planning
  • Pegging and prioritization
  • Exception and alert management
  • Experience supporting MRP / MRP Live and planning-to-execution integrations
  • Strong understanding of how manufacturing activities impact financial transactions (production orders, confirmations, material movements, inventory)
  • Experience supporting testing, cutover, and hypercare phases of SAP rollouts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

  • SAP PP/DS implementation experience
  • Experience integrating with MES/MII
  • Familiarity with adjacent modules such as MM, PM, QM, TM
  • Strong change management and user adoption experience

Day to Day

Insight Global is seeking an SAP Manufacturing & Production Planning Functional Specialist II to support the rollout and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Production Planning capabilities across the manufacturing sites.

This role partners closely with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, as well as Production, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and SAP technical teams, to deliver end-to-end planning and execution solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring master data readiness, supporting planning strategy alignment, coordinating end-to-end testing, and executing cutover and hypercare activities to stabilize operations post go-live.

The specialist will support planning and execution integrations, enable user adoption through training and documentation, and contribute to KPI definition and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in improving production feasibility, schedule adherence, supply-demand alignment, and overall customer service levels in a regulated, ITAR-controlled environment.


Compensation:


$150,000 to $160,000 per year annual salary.
