Job Title: Sales & Procurement Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sales & Procurement Representative to enhance customer relationships, develop suppliers, and handle light purchasing within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role involves close collaboration with Tier 1 customers, internal teams, and outsourcing partners to support pricing, quoting, and the launch of new programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with 4 Tier 1 customers and 4 outsourcing suppliers.
• Support new business development, quoting, pricing updates, and prototype requests.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control on new project start-ups.
• Analyze design, material, and process changes for cost impact.
• Manage approximately 5 purchase orders per week for outsourced products.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and issue resolution.
• Utilize Excel for reporting, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Work within the IQMS ERP system (experience not required).

Essential Skills

• Experience working for a manufacturing company in a sales/procurement role.
• Experience in sales, purchasing, sourcing, or program management.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual in Japanese and English is an advantage.

Work Environment

This position is onsite with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a Permanent position based out of Tell City, IN.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $62000.00/yr.

This company offers the below incentives to their employees after 30 days of employment:- 3 weeks PTO- 10 paid holidays- Tuition Reimbursement- 401k with 4% company match- Benefits 80/20 plan. Does include an onsite Wellness center and HSA. Typical $18-30/month for single person, family $44-120/month depending on options.

This is a fully onsite position in Tell City,IN.
