Who We’re Looking For
This is not a quota-carrying sales role. This role provides sales support, systems support, and executive support that frees the Owner to focus on relationships, vision, and high-level growth.
You will remove friction from:
• The sales process
• The office and systems
• The Owner’s calendar, tasks, and follow-through
This position blends:
Sales Enablement + Operational Systems + Executive Leverage
You’ll make sure the owner stays the sales closer and visionary by handling preparation, organization, documentation, and execution.
Core Characteristics
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Enablement (40–50 percent)
You help the sales effort run smoothly, but you are not responsible for hunting or closing.
Key Duties:
• Complete quantity takeoffs in Aspire (plans, measurements)
• Prepare estimates for review
• Maintain and clean up the CRM (HubSpot/Aspire)
• Manage the ideal client hit list
• Conduct light cold outreach to pre-defined targets
• Schedule intro calls and follow-up appointments
• Prepare proposals and organize supporting documents
• Track activity and progress in HubSpot
• Make introductory calls to potential clients as needed
• Assist with lunch-and-learn coordination
Outcome: The sales pipeline becomes more organized and predictable so owner can stay focused on building relationships.
Systems and Office Support (30–40 percent)
Key Duties:
• Troubleshoot basic Aspire issues
• Maintain HubSpot structure and syncing
• Support Google Drive, Sheets, and Forms
• Manage Mailchimp communication
• Prepare quarterly newsletters
• Support storm-related email blasts
• Assist with snow administration
• Create and maintain a Loom training library
• Build simple SOPs for repeatable tasks
• Assist onboarding of office and field leaders to systems
• Support Virtual Assistants and coordinate task handoff
• Handle basic tech issues before they escalate to Owner
Outcome: The office runs smoother; issues get handled earlier, and systems stay organized.
Executive Leverage (10–20 percent)
Key Duties:
• Protect, manage, and organize the Owner’s calendar
• Draft emails and texts for approval
• Track follow-ups, deadlines, and commitments
• Organize notes, meetings, and action items
• Maintain clean workflows so the owner stays on track
Outcome: The owner stays focused on big-picture leadership instead of administrative tasks.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions
The Director of Business Development will work in both an office setting and in the field. This role involves managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and requires a professional appearance (uniforms/conduct) that reflects the company’s brand.
Anticipated Schedule
• Summer Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Winter Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Flexibility: Occasional weekend or evening hours for community events.
What We Offer
• Compensation: $55,000 – $75,000 based on experience.
