The Role
We're looking for an independent sales contractor to lead new client acquisition for our retainer-based service packages. You'll own the front of the funnel: prospecting, pitching, qualifying, and closing.
This isn't cold-call-a-thousand-strangers sales. We're a boutique creative agency, and you'll be representing real work with real results. Your job is to find the right-fit businesses Texas owners ready to invest in serious marketing and bring them to the table.
What you'll do
- Identify and prospect new client opportunities across Texas (San Antonio market a priority)
- Run discovery calls and present our service packages
- Close monthly retainer contracts
- Hand signed clients off to the agency for onboarding and delivery
- Manage your own pipeline in our CRM
- Represent Cherry Media at local networking events when relevant
Who you are
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience agency, marketing, or service-based business sales is a major plus
- Confident on the phone, on Zoom, and in the room
- Self-motivated, you don't need someone behind you to stay on pace
- Comfortable as a 1099 contractor (you set your hours, you set your methods)
- Familiar with the small business landscape in Texas
- Bonus: existing network of business owners, restaurant operators, or marketing decision-makers
