🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing, Sales Representative with proven experience in medical billing/RCM sales. This is a field-based, territory-driven role for someone who thrives on in-person selling, comfortable walking into clinics, engaging decision-makers, building trust with physicians and practice managers, and closing deals. We are looking for a disciplined, relationship-driven closer who understands how to turn conversations into long-term clients. This is not a desk job, it’s for someone who knows how to work a territory, follow up consistently, and convert opportunities into revenue.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and either existing relationships in the market or the ability to build them quickly through proactive outreach. This is a results-driven role with strong earning potential for the right person.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Actively cover your assigned territory by visiting 10–20 medical practices per day and building a target list of 100+ clinics within the first 30 days
- Identify and engage healthcare providers (private practices, clinics, specialties) through in-person visits, cold outreach, referrals, and your existing network
- Build strong relationships with physicians, office managers, and billing staff to create trust and long-term opportunities
- Conduct discovery conversations to identify AR gaps, denial patterns, and revenue cycle inefficiencies
- Present tailored medical billing and RCM solutions and confidently close service agreements
- Generate and manage your own pipeline, including activating referrals and consistently prospecting new leads
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and client handover
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track weekly activity, pipeline progress, and deal status
✅ Requirements
- 2+ years of medical billing / RCM sales experience
- Strong understanding of insurance workflows, CPT/ICD coding, claims, AR, and denials
- Proven track record of closing deals within healthcare services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with in-person, field-based selling, including cold visits to medical offices
- Highly self-driven and disciplined, with the ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline
- Resilient and consistent - able to handle rejection and maintain momentum

- Existing relationships with physicians, practice managers, or billing staff in Southern California
- Background in medical billing, RCM, or healthcare operations
- Established local network or territory familiarity that can be activated quickly
- Experience identifying AR gaps, denial issues, or revenue cycle inefficiencies within practices
