Job Description
Sockwell (Goodhew LLC) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support our growing wholesale business. This role is responsible for managing sales reporting, maintaining the Elastic B2B platform, coordinating trade show logistics, National Trade Show in-person support, overseeing the sample program, and assisting with select local account management.
The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth sales operations while helping support retailers, sales representatives, and the internal team as Sockwell continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and dashboards
- Track sales performance by territory, account, and product category
- Assist sales leadership with forecasting and performance analysis
- Maintain accurate data within CRM and internal reporting systems
- Support account reviews and sales meetings with updated metrics and insights
- Own sales calendar management, helping align key milestones, product launches, trade shows, and account timelines across the sales team
Database/Elastic B2B Management
- Maintain and manage the vendor partner catalogs (ex: The Uniform Solution etc)
- Maintain and manage the Elastic B2B wholesale ordering platform
- Upload new products, images, pricing, and inventory updates
- Manage retailer accounts and access permissions
- Troubleshoot retailer ordering issues and provide platform support
- Ensure product data, marketing assets, and merchandising tools are current
Trade Show & Sales Event Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for industry trade shows and sales meetings, including:
- Pre-show marketing
- Booth materials and displays
- Product samples and marketing materials
- Shipping and return logistics
- Booth staffing, including set up and break down
- Assist with pre-show preparation and post-show follow-up
- Maintain trade show inventory and assets
Samples & Sales Tools
- Manage the sales sample program for internal reps and independent sales agencies
- Coordinate sample shipments to reps & retailers
- Track and maintain sample inventory
- Manage and assist in the creation and distribution of sales tools, order forms/price lists, and product resources
Local Account Management
- Manage a small group of local and house accounts in Chattanooga
- Support retailers with ordering, merchandising, and product education
- Assist accounts with reorders, product recommendations, and seasonal assortments
- Maintain strong relationships with local retail partners
- Identify opportunities for growth within assigned accounts
Sales Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the internal and external sales team
- Track and manage reporting requirements and relationships with buying groups, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong partner alignment (PPP, IRG, GOA)
- Assist with retailer onboarding and account setup
- Coordinate internal communication between sales, marketing, and operations
- Help ensure the sales team has accurate product, pricing, and promotional information
