Job description:
Reports directly to the Site General Manager & is responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Primary responsibility to exceed group sales goal for the venue.
2. Aggressively solicit and generate new Corporate Event Sales.
3. Manage Birthday Party Sales.
4. Solicit, manage and execute all Group Sales activities according to Group Sales
planning program calendar.
5. Establish strong relationships with local DMC’s, Incentive Houses, Hotels, Youth
Group and Corporate Event/Meeting Planners.
6. Establish strong relationships with local Visitor and Convention Bureaus and Chambers.
7. Responsible for all contract management, tracking signed contracts, securing deposits and final client payments according to policies.
8. Attend and engage with local trade show and association functions.
8. Responsible for overall client satisfaction, ensuring proper and successful execution of all events.
9. Partner with local management team to develop, manage, and execute against site
sales and marketing budgets and annual plans.
10. Establish and oversee goal setting with direct reports.
11. Responsible for generating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management.
12. Maintain integrity and updating of contact database information
14. Lead research, coordination, and execution of all on and oƯ-site events, promotions and programs.
15. Review creatives/collateral and provide feedback in a timely manner.
16. Oversee & maintain in-venue marketing including hardware, print collateral, digital
graphics, phone scripts, etc.
17. Educate team members on marketing campaigns, programs and promotions.
18. Oversee the Social Media Coordinator, media & influencers opportunities at venue.
19. Co-monitor online reviews, messages, and comments including responding and
providing details to the operations team, when follow up is needed. Generate local
sponsorship opportunities and manage relationships.
20. Execute promotional media events and entertainment.
