Job Title: Sales Manager Position Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of sales representatives to achieve individual and organizational revenue targets. This role combines strategic sales leadership, key account management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, proven sales performance, and the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse sales team.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Management

•Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and professional development milestones.

•Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

•Provide ongoing guidance, support, and accountability to drive individual and team success.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

•Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and expand market share.

•Identify new business opportunities and support sales reps in closing high-value deals.

•Monitor performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide accurate reporting and forecasting to leadership. Account Management

•Manage and grow a portfolio of select key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.

•Strengthen customer relationships through proactive communication and strategic partnership.

•Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by coordinating solutions across internal teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

•Partner with operations, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer experience.

•Align with internal stakeholders to support product availability, pricing strategy, and service improvements. Systems & Documentation

•Ensure CRM systems are accurately maintained, with timely updates to account activity, pipeline progress, and sales documentation.

•Promote consistent use of reporting tools and sales processes across the team.

Professional Representation

•Represent the company with professionalism when engaging with customers, vendors, and industry partners.

•Uphold company values and promote a strong brand presence in the marketplace.

Qualifications Required

•Approximately 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the oils, lubricants, automotive, industrial, or closely related industries.

•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

•Experience managing key or strategic customer accounts.

•Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and negotiation skills.

•Ability to analyze sales data and make informed, data-driven decisions.

•Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

•Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Preferred

•Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a sales team.

Background working with complex product lines or technical sales environments.


Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wyandanch, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
