Position Overview

We are seeking a polished and service-driven Sales Assistant to support our sales team and ensure a seamless, elevated in-store experience. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and eager to grow within a fine jewelry retail environment while gaining hands-on exposure to both client service and jewelry operations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Sales Support

  • Support the sales team with client needs and daily boutique operations
  • Build rapport with clients and confidently communicate product details
  • Ring up customer purchases and repair quotes with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a warm, elevated, and memorable in-store client experience

Repairs

  • Receive customer repair items and clearly communicate needs to the jeweler and/or sales associates
  • Create repair and sales tickets in the POS system
  • Contact customers regarding updates, approvals, and completed repairs

Store Operations & Support

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of showcases and store environment
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Help with shipping, packaging, and general store support needs as needed including running errands when necessary
  • Assist with inventory organization and back-of-house tasks

Creativity & Collaboration

  • Use creativity to support custom jewelry ideas alongside customers and sales associates
  • Assist in rearranging showcases to maintain fresh, visually appealing merchandising
  • Contribute ideas for in-store presentation and social media content opportunities
  • Participate in content creation when needed (product highlighting, in-store visuals, etc.)

Qualifications

  • MUST be able to commit to working several Saturdays a month
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, polished appearance and demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable engaging with clients in a refined and confident manner

Preferred Experience

  • Previous retail or customer service experience (luxury, jewelry, or fashion preferred)
  • Interest in fine jewelry, design, or luxury goods
  • Basic knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals
