Safety Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in the warehousing and distribution industry, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the Safety and Compliance Department supporting operational safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to fostering a safe work environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Safety Coordinator

Location: Denver, CO

Pay Range: $58.42

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with on-call as needed

What's the Job?

• Define and document policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement effective HSE strategies to support operational goals and reduce incidents.
• Lead incident investigations, including cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Support site management in compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulations.
• Create and facilitate HSE training programs for management and associates.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety or related field.
• 5-7 years of hands-on environmental and safety experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation.
• Working toward or attained safety certifications such as CSP preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with proof of liability coverage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
