Position Purpose:

The RPA Developer with work collaboratively with the Online Merchandising Solution RPA Center of Excellence to identify, develop, and maintain automations in the merchandising execution space for homedepot.com. This position will work closely with the project manager, business analysts, and developer peers to deliver automations that tackle business opportunities with tangible results focusing on increasing sales, driving cost out, capacity release, or risk mitigation via THD enterprise RPA solution, UiPath.


Key Responsibilities:

  • 25% Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to
  • assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards.
  • 50% Take business requirements and develop the total technical design for
  • assigned mid-sized projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production.
  • 25% Conduct appropriate test reviews on assigned projects as necessary. Present findings and offer solutions to management.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • No travel required


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with all phases of SDLC, including: requirements gathering, process design, development, deployment, SIT and UAT testing, bug fixes, and hypercare
  • Experience communicating with UiPath product support team on software related issues, suggesting areas for improvement, and seeking solves from the UiPath Community
  • Experience promoting changes to Orchestrator following a structured change control process
  • Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and logging automation/software issues in a timely manner
  • Experience working with reusable workflows and library components to reduce development level of effort while increasing automation scalability
  • Experience meeting delivery timelines according to requirements defined via user stories while maintaining close communication with Project Manager and Business Analysts as blockers/risks arise
  • Experience actively participating in peer code review and story grooming to identify gaps and mitigate risks
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills that enjoys engaging, teaching, and mentoring peers and larger organization on the benefits of RPA, leading project demos, and presenting success stories created by the team
  • Active interest in latest technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Experience developing programs for production.
  • Demonstrated ability to take business requirements and use to formulate technical design.
  • Ability to communicate issues and recommended solutions in a timely manner.
  • Solid experience in documenting requirements.

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
