Roofing Application Engineer (Commercial Roofing)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Roofing Application Engineer to support our sales team by providing technical expertise in commercial roofing systems. This role will play a key part in bridging technical solutions with customer needs, ensuring successful project delivery and strengthening client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the sales team on commercial roofing systems and applications
• Assist in project design, system selection, and specification development
• Conduct on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and application guidance
• Support product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training
• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, product, and operations) to resolve technical issues
• Ensure proper installation practices and compliance with project requirements
• Participate in pre-sales and post-sales technical support activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial roofing or related industry
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, etc.
• Experience supporting sales teams or working in a technical service role is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel locally for project support
