Overview

Step into a high-impact role where advanced robotics and real-world manufacturing collide. We’re looking for a driven Robot Programmer with strong KUKA expertise who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and bringing complex automation systems to life. From first line of code to full system launch, you’ll be a key player in delivering innovative, custom-built solutions alongside a highly skilled engineering team.

What You’ll Do

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot KUKA robotic systems using KRL
  • Develop and refine robot paths, tooling, and cycle times to maximize performance
  • Integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, and other automated equipment
  • Lead robot setup, calibration, and commissioning (in-house and on-site)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across programming, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, controls, and project engineers
  • Support system runoffs, FATs, and SATs to ensure quality and functionality
  • Create and maintain documentation including backups, manuals, and instructions
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system efficiency and reliability

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of industrial robot programming experience, with a focus on KUKA
  • Strong proficiency in KRL and familiarity with tools like WorkVisual and KUKA Sim
  • Experience integrating robots into automated manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of PLC communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, DeviceNet)
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Hands-on experience with startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Flexibility to travel (20–40%) for installations and customer support

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in automotive, packaging, or general automation
  • Exposure to vision systems, conveyors, and end-of-arm tooling
  • Knowledge of safety systems (interlocks, safety PLCs)
  • Multi-robot cell coordination and offline programming experience

Why This Role Stands Out

This isn’t just another programming job—you’ll be directly shaping cutting-edge automation systems from concept through launch. If you enjoy variety, technical challenges, and seeing your work come to life on the production floor, this opportunity delivers.
