RN - Regulatory and Accreditation- Part Time -Vista

With offices throughout San Diego County, our doctors specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. Some locations also provide rheumatology and orthopedics care. When further specialty care is needed, you have access to an extensive network of medical experts throughout the region. Scripps also provides health education resources, including weight management programs, nutrition and fitness classes, and programs for chronic conditions, such as diabetes.

This is a part time, benefited RN role at our clinic in Vista. The clinic is open 7a-5p and the hours are flexible. There are not any weekend or call shifts. The position is mostly remote however in person visits to the clinic twice monthly and during survey is expected. Full time status during training is preferred.

We are looking for someone with the following experience: AAAHC or JHCAO experience, experience with policy development, clinical experience either in an ASC or a AAAHC accredited office.

Duties include: Manages the ASC functions of: Accreditation, Licensure, Quality and Compliance and Infection Control. This position covers Cedar minor surgery.

Required Certification/Registration/Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in an ambulatory or hospital surgery department.
• Comprehensive understanding of state and federal laws pertaining to ASC Surgery and Accreditation Standards (AAAHC) and other system-wide applicable requirements and policies.
  
  
  Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
• AAAHC or JHCAO experience, experience with policy development,
• Clinical experience either in an ASC or a AAAHC accredited office.
