This is a 8-hour, casual status also known as Per Diem OR RN day shift position that is located in Oceanside. The shift is typically 645-1515 or 0900-1730 but can vary based on business needs. No call or weekend shifts. Minimum availability is 2 shifts per 4-5 week schedule. Training is preferably full time but is negotiable.

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Certification/Registration/Specialized Skills:

· Completion of accredited RN program

· Current CA RN license

· One-year applicable (OR) RN clinical experience

· Current America Heart Associate Healthcare Provider BLS certificate and ACLS

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Two years inpatient or outpatient RN experience in surgical services circulating and/or scrubbing
  • Experience with Total Joint Arthroplasties, Sports Medicine, Urology, General Ortho, ENT, GI with moderate sedation, GYN, Pain Injections and ablations

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
