About the Role

We are looking for a Nurse Educator (RN) to lead clinical training and education across our organization.

This role is perfect for someone who loves both hands-on nursing and teaching—you’ll be responsible for preparing staff to safely administer medications, perform delegated nursing tasks, and stay compliant with clinical standards.

You’ll also step in clinically when needed, supporting care continuity across the team.


What You’ll Do

Training & Education

  • Lead Certified Medication Technician (CMT) training programs
  • Conduct competency evaluations and ongoing skills training
  • Develop and maintain nursing education curriculum
  • Prepare training materials and coordinate recertifications

Clinical Support

  • Provide coverage for Nurse Case Managers and Delegating Nurses as needed
  • Participate in on-call coverage when required
  • Support safe medication administration and clinical best practices


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of nursing experience, ideally supporting individuals with disabilities in community-based settings
  • Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to teach, coach, and translate into real-world application
  • Comfortable working independently and adapting in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with EMRs and Microsoft Office tools


Requirements

  • Active Maryland RN license
  • MTTP (Medication Technician Trainer) certification or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
