The Scripps New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Residency Training Program is specifically designed for new graduate nurse orientation, with the goal of creating standardized practice and facilitating role transition in the clinical environment. Clinical Coach and Preceptor RNs provide education, coaching, and mentoring to new graduate RNs during a 40-week period to develop their competence, confidence, critical thinking, and documentation skills. New graduates in the program are trained as a collective group in various units. Upon successful completion of the program, nurses will be placed in a position within the Scripps system.
Must be willing to work night shift after the completion of the program.
Must be willing to work periods of both day and night shift throughout the 40-week program.
There is no PTO (paid time off) allowed during the program.
