This is a Full Time benefited OR RN position in a very fast paced environment at Rancho Bernardo Ambulatory center. This role is 4 days a week Monday - Friday with a rotating day off weekly. The shift is 10 hours from 6:30a-1700. No weekends. There is occasional Stand By/Late Call 4 Shifts Per month (1700-1900) that is rotated by staff.

This position includes $4K Retention incentive and $3K Relocation assistance for eligible new hires

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
  • Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

· Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

· Must remain in original department/specialty

· Must remain in original Job Title

· Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating)
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Prefer 2 years of recent ASC or main hospital experience
  • experience administrating conscious sedation (will train full time candidates)
  • multispecialty OR training particularly in GI, Pain and OR- GYN, Urology, ENT, Plastics and Podiatry

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
