POSITION SUMMARY

The Revenue Auditor is responsible for compiling and auditing revenue records, control documents, and preparing reports for all areas of casino operations. This position is responsible for auditing all areas of casino operation and preparing exception reports for all errors.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and employees, has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions, and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees. 

  • Responsible for auditing paperwork of previous day’s activities in various areas of casino operations.

  • Responsible for completing reports associated with the daily audits.

  • Responsible for verifying toke counts and deposits by the count room.

  • Responsible for preparing exception reports for all errors discovered in audit.

  • Ensures safety and security of employees and customer financial information.

  • Basic knowledge of company’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s), Internal Controls, Title 31, company policies and procedures. 

  • Be a customer experience owner, act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests.  Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them.  Approach each situation with a “yes we can” attitude, every guest every time.

  • Comply with our drug & alcohol free workplace. Subject to for cause and post-accident drug tests.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and employee information.

  • Embraces and practices customer courtesy skills of Family Style Service culture.

  • Must have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.

  • Ensures the safety and security of all customers and employees.

  • Must have the ability to work in a casino environment exposed to smoke, bright lights, and noise. 

  • Must have the ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure, in an interruptive environment.

     

  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including but not limited to, personal computer, printer, 10 key calculator, telephone, and voice mail system. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.

  • Physical requirements: walking/standing 10%, sitting 88%, lifting 2% (up to 25lbs). This also includes repetitive keyboarding.

  • Must be able to complete required training, learn all essential job functions and computer systems within 90 days.

  • Sound understanding of internal controls, policies, procedures, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate or supervise the work of others on required audits.

  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

  • Ability to be at work, on time as scheduled, on a regular basis; this may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
