Job Overview
The Store Manager will oversee all daily operations at our East Hampton flagship, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales performance. This is a year-round, full-time position offering long-term stability in one of the Hamptons' most recognized retail destinations. This role requires strong leadership skills, proven retail management experience, and the ability to foster a positive, high-performance work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies
- Lead, train, and develop the store team through effective coaching, orientation, and performance evaluations
- Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Handle payroll, scheduling, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping to ensure financial accuracy
- Monitor inventory control processes to minimize loss and optimize stock levels
- Implement local marketing initiatives and clienteling strategies to drive traffic and sales
- Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and accurate cash handling
- Foster a collaborative team environment through open communication and strong leadership
- Analyze sales data and apply retail math to assess performance and inform pricing or promotional decisions
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of retail management experience (fashion, footwear, or specialty retail preferred)
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in inventory management systems and retail operations
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for fashion, trends, and providing an elevated customer experience
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
