A prestigious Am Law firm is seeking a Restructuring Counsel with 8+ years of experience to join its New York office. This role focuses on complex bankruptcy proceedings, creditor-side representations, and out-of-court restructurings involving high-value financial matters.
This partner-track position offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated restructuring matters, advise major stakeholders, and play a critical role in high-profile Chapter 11 cases and financial restructurings.

Key Responsibilities
• Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring matters
• Handle DIP financing, cash collateral usage, and plans of reorganization
• Manage asset dispositions and liability management transactions
• Lead out-of-court workouts and restructuring negotiations
• Oversee foreclosures and assignments for the benefit of creditors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex financial transactions

Qualifications
• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Bankruptcy Attorney or Restructuring Attorney
• Extensive experience in Chapter 11 proceedings and creditors’ rights matters
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Admission to the New York Bar required
• Excellent academic credentials
• Proven ability to manage complex matters and client relationships
