Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Skills/Experience: NICU experience required.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.
Unit Details: Provides respiratory care across all areas throughout the facility for neonatal to geriatric patients, including level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac populations. Uses Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, Hamilton C1, MR1, and V-60 Respironics.
Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend. Every third holiday.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
