Job Details- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments and mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning
- Perform emergency intubations and arterial punctures for blood gas analysis across all patient age groups
- Conduct EKGs and deliver reports to ordering physicians per department procedures
- Accurately document all patient care data and maintain knowledge of departmental forms and protocols
- Educate patients and families with individualized teaching plans while delivering care with respect and dignity
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy with current Ohio Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- NBRC Certified Respiratory Technician or Registered Therapist
- BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certified
- ACLS and PALS certification required
