As a Researcher, youll work as an integral part of embedded teams, collaborating with teammates and stakeholders to deliver insights that shape products and services. Heres what your day-to-day might look like:Dive into User Needs: Conduct research to understand behaviors & needs, assess usability, and uncover the insights that drive impactful product and marketing decisions. Create Research Artifacts: Develop research plans, discussion guides, survey questionnaires, reports, personas, service blueprints, and journey maps that give our clients the data they need to make decisions. Collaborate and Connect: Work with internal team and client collaborators to ensure research aligns with business goals and customer needs.Facilitate Alignment: Lead workshops, report readouts, and collaborative sessions that bring cross-functional teams together, creating alignment and cohesion throughout the research and design process.Tell the Story: Communicate findings in a way thats clear, compelling, and actionable. Youll help clients connect the dots between data and decisions.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves crafting research programs from the ground up, and is eager to grow with a team.What Were Looking ForExperience: 2-5 years of experience conducting market and/or user experience research required.Quantitative and qualitative experience required.AI fluency required Agency or consulting experience preferred but not required.Experience with Accessibility/a11y user research is a plus.Education: Bachelors degree in a social science (psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, linguistics, political science etc.), computer science, design or related field required. Advanced degree preferred but not required.Skills: Exceptional research skills, and a strong qualitative methodological tool box. This role requires proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, strong analytical skills, a growing methodological toolbox, and the ability to translate findings into actionable, even inspiring recommendations for our client stakeholders. Researchers at 10/10 work across client industries, adapting research approaches to meet diverse client needs in many spaces. Researchers balance their responsibilities as follows: Time Allocation90% Research Execution Scoping, conducting, and delivering research projects and programs. 10% Client & Professional Development, Internal Initiatives Supporting client relationships, furthering your own education, and contributing to process improvements.ResponsibilitiesResearch Execution (90%)Scoping & Study DesignCollaborate with clients and internal teams to define research objectives and project scope.Select appropriate research methodologies and design studies that integrate qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods.Develop research plans, discussion guides, survey instruments, and study protocols.Data Collection & Analysis Conduct qualitative research, including interviews, usability tests, diary studies, ethnographic research, and concept testing.Execute quantitative research, including survey design, behavioral data analysis, and statistical interpretation.Synthesize research findings, identifying themes, patterns, and key insights.Synthesis & DeliverablesDevelop clear, actionable reports, presentations, and strategic frameworks.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder alignment meetings, and presentations to ensure research findings are understood and applied.Communicate insights effectively, crafting compelling narratives that translate research into business impact.Cross-Industry Research & Strategy Adapt research approaches to address diverse business challenges across industries. GeneralTravelRole may require you to travel for on-site client projects and meetings.
