The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Technician position for Biomarker Research Technician. The Biomarker Research Technician will assist with the performance of clinical research studies at the Center for Autism and Developing Brain (CADB), located in White Plains, NY. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the collection, pre/processing, and storage of multimodal biomarker data, including EEG/ERP/ECG, eye-tracking, and related psychophysiological measures. The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating the mail-in process of deployment and retrieval of wearable devices. This role supports research studies involving children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and requires close collaboration with faculty investigators, clinical staff, research participants and their families. The incumbent will receive specialized training and ongoing supervision from faculty experts in EEG/ERP/ECG, eye-tracking, and sleep health and support high-quality data collection and post collection quality control. The position also involves supporting participant engagement by administering individualized protocols, communication supports, and behavior plans to facilitate successful biomarker assessments and retention.
