As the Research Technician I, you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that supports students and researchers from diverse backgrounds as they pursue data‑driven scientific discovery.
Be Bold. What You’ll Do:• Conduct biological data collection, bioinformatics workflows, and single‑cell data analyses.
• Compile, analyze, and document procedures, results, and preliminary conclusions from genomic datasets.
• Collaborate with the principal investigator to shape research plans and analysis strategies.
• Modify existing lab or computational techniques to support evolving research needs.
• Review scientific literature to inform experimental and data analysis approaches.
• Use and maintain high‑performance computing environments and laboratory databases.
• Train new or junior personnel in data collection and analysis procedures.
• Support preparation of research presentations and publications.
• Maintain databases and contribute to high‑quality data stewardship.
Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, engineering, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative scientific field.
• Preferred experience in computational biology, single‑cell perturbation data analysis, and programming in Python or R.
• Interest in machine learning, cancer genomics, and single‑cell technologies.
