Our Correspondent team works with Wells Fargo Funding and is part of Home Lending. Correspondent clients include large and small banks and mortgage companies, which provide borrower financing.
This position is for a Research/Remediation Rep 2.
• Responsible for performing a variety of loan research on complex loan transfer issues/follow-up with resolutions and system updates
• Work directly with Correspondent Lenders regarding loan transfer issues
• Conducting intake to determine appropriate course of action, conducting investigative steps to fully identify the issues, processing complex transaction including monetary actions, researching product information, terms, conditions, and resolving complex problems and inquiries
• Serves as an intermediary between parties on matters, negotiates and enacts accordingly
• May act as a liaison between internal and external customers
• Reconciles loan transfer accounts
Duties may also include: project work, manage client inbox, work daily research tasks, and incoming phone calls
Important Note: Required location for this position is 4800 Wabash Avenue, Springfield, IL 62711. The position will start to the location listed above, however, eventually move to remote.
