Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to support repair, testing, and refurbishment of electronic equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and test electronic and mechanical equipment
• Perform component-level troubleshooting and replacement
• Document repair actions, testing results, and part usage accurately
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
• Perform refurbishing, configuration, and functional testing of equipment
• Follow repair procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding repair status

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Repair Technician or similar technical role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with electronic hardware and components
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Basic computer skills for documentation and system updates
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience repairing terminals, scanners, printers, or electronic devices
• Familiarity with inventory or asset tracking systems
• Soldering or component-level repair experience

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Day or morning shift availability preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY 40214.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
