Repair Technician

We are seeking skilled Repair Technicians to join our team, with six openings available. The role involves troubleshooting a variety of computer equipment and diagnosing computer-related issues. You will interact with customers both face-to-face and electronically, providing diagnostics and feedback during the repair process. The position requires performing 'Test & Check' services for internal zones products, and initiating escalation as necessary to other resources. You will also project timely and accurate communication of issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose various computer-related issues.
• Interact with customers face-to-face and electronically, providing diagnostics and feedback.
• Perform 'Test & Check' services for internal zones products.
• Initiate escalation to other resources as necessary.
• Communicate issues to management in a timely and accurate manner.

• 2+ years of experience in a computer repair environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ability to order replacement parts from vendors and process return of exchange parts.
• CompTIA A+ certification.

• Experience with on-site repairs including customer-facing interface is a plus.
• Tier 1 Vendor Desktop, Laptop, and Server Repair certifications (IBM, HP, Lenovo, Dell, Apple) preferred.

The work environment offers flexible shift options from 7AM-3:30PM or 8AM-4:30PM, allowing you to choose what best fits your lifestyle. You will work with a range of computer equipment, utilizing cutting-edge technology to perform repairs and diagnostics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Carol Stream,IL.
