The Rehabilitation Specialist 1 / 2 position is a professional counselor position responsible for performing caseworkin a caseload utilizing skills and techniques, which enable a person with a disability to successfully interface with his/her total environment in the community and obtaining employment.
The Office of Workforce Development (OWD)is a key division of Louisiana Works managing programs in workforce training, job placement, apprenticeships, and business engagement. Through collaboration with local boards, educational institutions, and industry partners, OWD aims to improve economic mobility for job seekers and ensure Louisiana employers have the skilled talent they need, contributing to the state’s economic growth.

This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of the following;
Rehabilitation Specialist 1: $ 23.25 Hourly Rate / $ 4,030.00 Monthly Rate
Rehabilitation Specialist 2: $ 24.88 Hourly Rate / $ 4,312.53 Monthly Rate
