As a Senior Associate within Regulatory Support and Control, you partner with the Fixed Income Marketing Middle Office to ensure end-to-end regulatory compliance across Markets Operations. You engage clients and internal stakeholders to interpret requirements and deliver timely, accurate reporting under frameworks such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and SFTR. You lead cross-functional change initiatives that strengthen controls, remediate gaps, and enhance operational resiliency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead regulatory support across Dodd-Frank, EMIR, SFTR, and related frameworks.

     

  • Validate and reconcile SFTR data fields including collateral, counterparty, transaction type, and lifecycle events.
  • Monitor reporting timelines and remediate rejected or incomplete submissions.
  • Collaborate with Technology to implement reporting solutions, data controls, and monitoring.
  • Analyze regulatory feedback and implement process improvements to address gaps or deficiencies.
  • Support audits and regulatory inquiries with accurate documentation and clear explanations.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across FO (Trading, Sales, Business Management), Sales Support, Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, and PMO.
  • Drive change initiatives that improve controls, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate requirements and guidance clearly to salespeople, clients, and internal teams.
  • Document processes comprehensively to meet governance, control, and evidentiary standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bring prior investment banking and regulatory reporting experience.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across Fixed Income, Commodity derivatives, collateral (10+ years).
  • Manage initiatives and projects with measurable delivery outcomes in high-volume environments.
  • Engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Execute securities financing transaction reporting processes end-to-end with high accuracy.
  • Apply strong risk and controls awareness with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Utilize advanced PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze and present data and controls.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Validate and reconcile complex SFTR data elements, including lifecycle events and collateral attributes.
  • Navigate OTC derivatives processing and lifecycle across multiple asset classes.
  • Collaborate with Technology to design SFTR-specific solutions, controls, and reconciliations.
  • Analyze regulatory feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on control enhancements and delivery milestones.
  • Understand client reference data and its impact on regulatory reporting accuracy.
