Registered Vascular Technician - Per Diem

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is looking for a Per Diem Vascular Technician to join our outpatient team.

Position Purpose:

Performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations on patients. Maintains proficient workflow and performs clerical duties as needed.

What you will do:

• Performs echocardiograms and various vascular ultrasounds on adult patients in the community per physician order for diagnostic purposes.
• Performs ankle brachial indices (ABI) and pulse volume recording (PVR) on all adult patients for physician interpretation and treatment.
• Provides preliminary findings for reading physician.
• Assesses patients and adapts to clinical and cultural situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound technology program, with active ARDMS or CCI registries for both. RDCS, RVT, RCS, RVS are acceptable.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in cardiac and/or vascular sonography.
• Must possess a BLS certification.
