About the Role

Respiratory Care / Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)


Responsibilities

  • Shift requirements: 3x12s night
  • Number of years of experience required: 1.5+ years. PICU/NICU experience is highly preferred
  • What is the weekend requirement: Every other weekend (Fri/Sat)
  • Floating Requirement: Will float between PICU, ED, and Adult critical care. There may be additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs
  • Are first-time travelers accepted? Yes
  • State Licensure Requirement: NJ License is required
  • Which certifications are required? BLS and NBRC are required. Advanced certs (ACLS/PALS/NRP) highly preferred but travelers can obtain onsite
  • RTO Policy: All time off MUST be sent with the submittal and approved before the offer
  • Patient Mix: Adult and pediatric
  • Types of procedures: Blood gas, vent/BiPAP/High flow initiation and management, Code response, in-house transport, medication administration, Chest PT
  • Equipment experience: Servo I & U, V60 BiPAP
  • Charting System: EPIC
